Tara Milenkovic is a Narrm based multidisciplinary artist who has completed a Bachelor of Fine Art, majoring in Photography at RMIT University. Tara's most recent projects oscillate between photography, video, installation and sculpture. The artworks examine themes relating to the importance of female-lead narratives in art and on screen, reflecting the depths and intricacies of female voices that are often misrepresented through these mediums.
With a strong focus on the female gaze, Tara's interest is in subverting traditional patriarchal ideals, consciously exploring the internal world of individual experiences and healing through the use of body, environment and space.
Currently developing, breathing and practicing on Yorta Yorta Country.
